Sound Therapy at the Village Hall

Hello, my name is Donna! I am a local here in Boxworth and have been for the past 17 years. Over the years, I have developed so much love for our community, so I would love to give back to the community, I’d like to do so through offering you my talent with sound therapy by offering an hour long session per month.

Sound therapy is a natural, musical way to evoke deeply soothing relaxation, it is wonderful for your health and well-being.

There is no need to be familiar with sound therapy whatsoever, I am happy to explain the premises of it. But to get the best out of your experience, I recommend you bring a pillow, a blanket and a mat; you can bring an eyemask if you wish as well.

Although sound therapy is most often totally safe, there are some outstanding circumstances in which your GP’s written permission will be necessary, this applies if you are:
    ⁃    pregnant
    ⁃    wear hearing aids
    ⁃    have recently undergone surgery

I am providing the sessions on a voluntary basis, therefore, I shall not be charging for my time. However, if you would like to kindly contribute towards the expense of providing the sessions and the equipment I use, I would be grateful, an approximate contribution stands between £5 to £10.

The hall can comfortably fit 10 people per session, the sessions will be monthly, it is a first come first serve basis. If there is high demand and I cannot offer my service to you immediately, I will create a waiting list to ensure everyone can experience the wonders of sound therapy!

For the sake of convenience, I will be asking those who are interested for convenient times and days.

At the end of the session, I will give you some time to ease back into your day and reflect on your experience.

Here is a link to a short (8 minutes) youtube video outlining the benefits of sound therapy:

Thank you for reading this, I look forward to proving my service to you in the future.

Contact me at if you would be interested in joining one of these sessions.
